To live stream Swim Ireland's five day Irish Open Championships in the National Aquatic Centre. The pool for this competition was 50 meters with race length ranging from 50 - 1000 meters. With many swimmers hoping to achieve qualifying times.
Our Delivery
Given the length of the pool was 50 meters, a 15 meter rail was incorporated into the 4 camera production to give the viewer a smooth vertically moving view of the athletes moving across the middle of the pool allowing for an elevated camera to capture race starts and finishes.
A finish line camera allowed for close up slow motion replays to be created for each race. Each day's finals session was introduced with a brief interview was coaching and performance staff and concluded with post race, pool-side interviews of the days top performing swimmer.
