St. Mary’s College RFC throughout Covid-19 lockdowns needed to allow fans and club members to watch League Games. HBV Studios were tasked with providing a 1 camera production of their AIL home fixtures while also incorporating live graphics, scoreboard, and advertisements.
Our streams were delivered as a 1 camera with a dual commentary team. We used our broadcast camera setup which included our Sony 4K cameras, Sure 58 microphones, and our Atem Mini Pro. Pre-production included recording pieces with the President of the club before each week to play prior to kick-off.
Liaising with the club sponsors of the week to source ads, logos, and any graphics that they might want displayed throughout the match and half-time. Our in-house expert commentator Andrew Blair-White was in attendance at all fixtures to provide lead commentary along side club member Niall Rynne.
